Consider why you are running the survey. Your survey objectives could include gathering feedback or suggestions, or simply trying better understand the details in a process that’s unknown to the rest of the business.

Your survey could take on a number of formats. If you’re looking for quantitative data that can be compared and made into charts and tables, ask close-ended questions. If you want more qualitative data, such as opinions and feedback, try free-form text boxes. This is where you can identify issues and gather detailed information such as where road-blocks are and where change is needed.
