Event evaluation survey template

There are lots of questions that can be used across almost all post-event surveys—we’ve included a few of these in our template to get you started.

As a general rule, a good event evaluation survey covers:

• Satisfaction across key areas What did they think about the location, the speakers, the catering or the networking opportunities?
• Areas for improvement What did they love? What did they hate? What did they want to see more of? This kind of feedback is what will help your events get better and better.
• The specifics The broad questions help paint a general picture. But you should try to throw in some specific questions tailored to your event. For example, was there an interactive workshop? An external vendor? An interesting guest speaker? Feedback on these elements will help you decide how to plan future events.
